Want to get strong? Want to dance? Let's move it! This class integrates core stabilization, balance, and fitness fundamentals (such as planks, lunges, and squats) into fun dance-able combinations to an eclectic mix of contemporary Balkan, Punjabi, and world music. Build strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular health! Sonja will spend one-on-one time to ensure your technique is perfect to prevent injury and get you strong!
About the instructor: Sonja has been dancing for 20+ years, holds an MA in Dance from the University of Hawaii, owns La Vida Dance Studio, and is a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant. She brings her knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and optimal body mechanics to her classes, as well as a love for movement!
